Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on the Muslims nations to unite in an effort to end Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
The Iranian official made the remarks on Monday night during a phone call with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan, as the pair emphasized the need to maintain contact and consultations with each other.
Araghchi expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s swift stance in condemning the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran.
The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the region.
Farhan, for his part, reiterated his country’s stance in condemning Israel’s aggressive action in violating Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing the need for all regional countries to work together to prevent the spread of insecurity.
The Israeli regime attacked several Iranian military facilities early Saturday, killing four servicemen of the Armed Forces and one civilian.
Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said the attack caused minor damage that has been immediately repaired and replaced.
