The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has attended the first night of the mourning ceremonies held for the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (AS), the daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
A number of mourners participated in the ceremony held in Imam Khomeini (RA) Husseiniya in the capital Tehran on Monday night, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Prominent cleric, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mahdi Aslani, delivered speech on “Engineering of Explication” based on holy Qur’an as a feature of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA).
The ceremony was held on Monday, the first of three nights ending with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh.
Shias across the globe mark 13 Jamadi al-Awwal to 3 Jamadi al-Thani, according to the Muslim lunar calendar, as the martyrdom anniversary of the lady.
