Israeli regime forces have launched new raid against the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah using four Palestinian citizens as human shield.

The chief of the council in al-Mughayyir village in the northeast Ramallah said the regime forces raided several homes and assaulted a number of the residents.

Abu Aliya also said that the IOF severely beat four citizens during its raid and put them in front of military vehicles as human shields, pointing out those citizens suffered injuries.

He added that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at homes and local residents.

A day earlier, two Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred in an Israeli shelling that targeted the city of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank. Local sources confirmed the martyrdom and that the occupation army had seized their bodies after their martyrdom.

Also, to the north of Tubas, Israeli drones targeted a group of citizens in Safah area. Reports indicated that the occupation forces had prevented ambulance crews from reaching the site.

Media sources stated that the martyrs were identified as two members of the resistance: Odeh Radwan Daraghmeh “Al-Shahrouri” and Khalil Majdi Al-Masri.

Israeli regime has intensified aggression against the occupied West Bank since it unleashed the genocidal war on Gaza more than 14 months ago.
