With the support of the Cultural Counsellor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation, more than 100 books from Iranian publishers were presented at the 26th Moscow International Non/Fiction Book Fair.

As in previous international book fairs, the children’s and young adults’ section attracted significant attention. Iranian publishers also featured books catering to these age groups, which were warmly received by Russian readers. Additionally, Persian books translated into Russian in recent years and published by various Russian publishers were prominently displayed in a dedicated section.

The Moscow International Non/Fiction Book Fair is one of Russia’s most significant cultural events. The 26th edition featured: 400 participants, 12 discussion platforms, 300 events, and 13,000 newly published books.
This year’s fair showcased a variety of works, including new releases and reprints of Russian literature, scientific and popular books, biographies, memoirs, business guides, and reference works. Notable Russian and international authors, poets, playwrights, journalists, illustrators, translators, literary critics, filmmakers, and cultural figures attended the event, contributing to its global relevance.
Iran’s active participation underscores the country’s commitment to promoting Persian literature and strengthening cultural ties with Russia. Presenting a diverse range of books, including children’s literature and works on resistance, highlights Iran's rich literary tradition and its efforts to engage with international audiences.
