The meeting of Russia-Islamic world held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur ended its work stressing importance of putting an end to the Israel’s violation of Syrian sovereignty and the genocidal war on Gaza.

The demands were made in the final communique of the summit held under the slogan “Russia and the Islamic World: Cooperation in Emerging Multipolar Era”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The scholars at the meeting strongly condemned the Israeli “barbarism” in seizing the strategic Golan Heights in the wake of the militants’ takeover of the country.

Part of the statement said,” Clearly, the 1974 agreement between Israel and Syria regarding the Golan Heights has been deemed void by Israel.”

The participants also denounced the Israeli regime for launching hundreds of attacks against Syrian military positions calling that a violation of the Syrian sovereignty.

The statement also deplored the world of Islam over inaction in the face of Israeli regime atrocities against Syria warning that,” Israel has an agenda to expand its border territory.”

According to the statement, the recent events in Syria represent a significant period in West Asian history.

The scholars also condemned the Israeli massacre of the people in Gaza Strip stressing that the regime forces must be accounted for hundreds of attacks that targeted the northern parts of the besieged strip.

The statement denounced the Israeli targeted killing of the security personnel in Gaza calling on the international community and the UN organizations for immediate actions to protect civilian lives.

The participants called the U.S. administration and its European allies including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France as fully responsible the Israeli genocide and complicit in every criminal act the regime committed against Palestinians in Gaza.

The condition of Muslims in India was also highlighted in the meeting as scholars warned that the provocative acts against Muslims as a clear step to incite hatred among the different religious groups.

The Muslim scholars urged the Indian government to “take necessary steps to prevent mosques from becoming targets of Hindu nationalist fanatics.”

Under the slogan “Russia and the Islamic World: Cooperation in Emerging Multipolar Era”, the meeting of Russia-Islamic World delved into the prospects of mutual relation between Russia and the Islamic countries.

More than 200 representatives including officials, political and religious figures and also public figures from 32 countries will attend the meeting in the Malaysian capital.
