Israeli newspapers comments on the recent Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip, reflected an "Israeli" growing concerns regarding the boosting capabilities of the Palestinian resistance arms.
Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - Articles published on Zionist dailies is an indication of the reinforcement of Resistance movements to hit targets deep in Israel in the face of limited military options by Israel against the resistance factions.
The comments also prove the failure of system Iron Dome anti-missile to provide effective protection for Israeli settlers.
According to Haaretz newspaper, Hamas and "Israel" do not ask for an escalation now in the Gaza Strip, noting that Hamas is not exhausted after reviewing the force that showed in the process of exchange that led to the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, and attributed the escalation to what the newspaper called "Israeli discovery of the intentions of a target group firing rockets at Israel".
Haaretz noted that the "Israeli" army policy is to absorb the events, coupled with the restraint shown by the political level, although some of the ideas that highlight the demand to enter into a military adventure in the Gaza Strip is a clear goal but not guaranteed.
The newspaper linked the continued escalation of the size of the losses on both sides, but it focused on the role of Hamas to rein in the size of escalation and that it would intervene to rein things in order not to get out of control and lead to extensive confrontation threatening the authority of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The daily also linked Hamas' desire to maintain the relationship with military Council in Cairo, in addition to avoid an escalation that could lead to postponement of the second phase of the process of exchange of prisoners to be released in its framework of 550 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.
Haaretz put forward a big question mark on the performance of the Iron Dome anti-missile during the escalation and claimed that the dome which has achieved successes in the former rounds of escalation, did record only one successful intercept at the current round over the city of Beersheba, while not intercept rockets fired towards the cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon.
The "Israeli" newspaper feared that the weapon called "Judgment Day" was not used by the Palestinian resistance factions and still preserved in the stores, but they only fired "Grad" rockets with a range of 40 km, although they possess missiles capable of hitting Tel Aviv and Herzliya, and in this case, almost a million Israelis became hostage to the leaders of military wings of Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.
