Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday reiterated his country's rejection of the foreign intervention in Syria's domestic affairs, saying that economic and political reforms come through dialogue.
During a lecture held at the Free International University in Moldova's capital of Kishinev, Lavrov underlined that reforms in Syria and the Middle East countries should be realized through dialogue with participation of all social and economic spectrums.
He called for rejecting all forms of violence, adding that previous experiments have proved that force from outside won't be an effective tool to solve issues.
Lavrov warned against the sanctions' repercussions, in particular, the armed acts because they lead to crisis, not solution.
He added that the provocative acts by some foreign countries against Syria reveal their endeavors to regain their lost positions in the economic and financial fields on the international levels.
