Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Rokn Abbadi condemned the kidnapping of the 5 Iranians engineers in Homs-Syria.

The Ambassador considered such operation as useless, stressing that efforts are underway to find the kidnapped and release them.

Abbadi said today after meeting with PSP head Deputy Walid Jumblatt at Clemenceau that the visit came in the framework of his talks with the Lebanese leaders on the occasion of Christmas.

"Discussions focused on the regional and international situation, in addition to the Lebanese-Iranian ties", Abbadi pointed out.

The ambassador said that the entire region is threatened by the Zionist entity, confirming that problems in this region should be solved away from outside interference.
