Lebanese MP seeks ending military chaos in Syria

Lebanon's Loyalty to the Resistance bloc Leader MP Mohammad Raad said that the government performance in dealing with problems is slow.


Following his meeting with former Prime Minister Selim Hoss, Raad said he has informed his host of the situation in Lebanon and Syria, as of the Israeli behavior regarding Al-Quds Judaiziation.

"We discussed present gaps in government's handling of citizens' affair and demands," he added, stressing the need for the government to improve its performance. 

In response to a question on Ban Ki-moon's stances regarding Hezbollah weapons and on what Davutoglu stated against Syrian President, Raad said "Ban-Ki Moon deems Resistance weapons as harmful and does not consider harmful the weapons of those present in Syria."

Asked about probable repercussions of regional events on Lebanon's stability, Raad said sound forces in Lebanon are the sole guarantee of stability.

"We ought to stop military chaos in Syria which would hamper reforms and threaten the stability of Syria and the region," he said.
