Sheikh Hassan al-Baghdadi : " we will stand against anyone who wants to raise the issue of human history in a subjective and distort historical facts"

The TV series "AL-Hassan and AL-Hussein", formed a sensation since the start of its advertising, and a wide range opposition of  Sunnis and Shiites Clergy.

Sheikh Hassan al-Baghdadi considered that the series left a negative imprint on the topic of media and religion. He said that some refuse to show to the public the Companions embodiment. But he also said if we assume that we skipped that, ensuring that humiliation will not take place, and respect will domain, as happened in the series of the Prophet Yusuf (a.s) they embodied his character properly and there was not at all that strife and problems because he was talking about the truth as it is far from the sectarian or denominational or social problem. But if Jesus (a.s) was embodied in an inappropriate way we would stand against him and against anyone who wants to raise the issue of human history in a subjective and distort historical facts, causing religious and sectarian strife, and today we are in dire need for unity among Muslims.

He said "We do not want a series inciting sectarian strife and sectarianism. Thus we wished on the bosses to stop it because he raises temptation and problems between people and far from the historical fact that proved it the affiliate or companions of Messenger Mohamed (s.a).

He denied that this series is a convergence between Sunnis and Shiites because the factors within the series has a lot of historical problems and questions and disapproval and bewilderment. The series of these elements can not serve the convergence between the sects, "because when we get into the depth, we want to put things properly in perspective and that too, will cause the falsehood and the problems and the spacing between the Muslims. Calling to leave historical things for each team to think and ask positive things that may fix a shared title of the Whole Muslims".
 
And what can be caused by this series of strife between the Muslims, he said that " they have a percentage of awareness, even in the street and that the Sunni scholars and of non-Shiites rejected this series and stood in it face.

On the other hand, Sheikh Maher Hammoud, considered that the issue of embodiment of Imams (S) and the companions is a subject of old controversy and its prohbited to reflect the faces of companions and the Imams. The reason for the prohibition is in the sense that no one can reach the ranks of those, and imitation will not give a full picture of them. On the subject of the text there is also a difference because actors or the director of the series must be on a certain leven of religious knowledge and sincerity. Citing the words of the director of work who wants to focus on the unity of Muslims : "When the waiver of our master al-Hasan from power to Muawiya this part that was really the best shot in this format despite the rest of the mistakes, but that was not mastered and here he relies on the good performance and give the idea in principle and having seen series of the Prophet Yusuf (as) we are encouraged that the changes we have seen here is counting on content and not the principle of incarnation. If we move from the seventies to the nineties we see that the idea of ​​prohibition of embodiment in Islam is decreased significantly".

Now appears the mitigation of the prohibition, with emphasis on performance and safety of aim and we say: "We do not see a problem of imaging Imams Hassan and Hussein, but if we saw that it was not appropriate or that the representation inadequate or that the text is designed to cause dissension, then the position of this will be the principle. Knowing that this era in particular with Muawiyah is a very sensitive topic, I have no doubt that anyone can give its right and even in the text itself not only by the Sunna. Muawiyah wars on Imam Ali is unjustified, but the reconciliation of Imam Hassan gave legitimacy to it.

He concluded by saying the goal of the series is to bring the views together and not stir up strife, adding that "the controversy is due to the fanatics of some satellite channels from the Sunnis and Shiites is much worse than a series aims to bring the views together to whether it did or not".
