Lebanese spiritual leaders shed light on Quds Day importance

"Imam Khomeini wanted the cause of Al-Quds, in all its dimensions, to remain present in the consciousness of Muslims, and their awareness, and not to be forgetten, no matter how powerful the challenges are"


Al-Quds Day, which called by the late Imam Ruhollah Khomeini on every last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, formed a major station for the Friday sermons and what it means for a political and religious title for Muslims, and a day to mobilize of all vulnerable people in the world.
 
This occasion also coincided with the fall of the Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi and the claims to uncover the circumstances the absence of Imam Sadr and his two companions. It was also a warning, from the U.S. intervention to capture Libyan oil.

Sheikh Afif Nabulsi, head of "Al-Zahraa"(as) Assembly, assured that the issue of Al-Quds and Palestine, which intersect all the key issues and sub-region in the world remain present and strong. Although it did not formed an essential part of the movement of Arab and Islamic regimes or one of its priorities, it has been able to overcome all the marginalization of the Arab, Islamic and international officials "Untill came up the call of Imam Khomeini (RIP), the supporter of the Palestinian people and Al-Quds, to raise the level of attention and put them into the mainstream mobility of the nation and a key priority of the priorities of Muslims and their goals.

Nabulsi noted to the cause of Imam Musa Sadr and the oppression felt on him saying that "the time is approaching to know the circumstances of the case of Imam Sadr and his fate completely by what is happening in Libya by the movement to overthrow Gaddafi.

The cleric called to pay attention by anticipation and hope to the rapid developments in Libya, and do not be yaken by what the West offer to the rebels, saying that "Libya should come out of the tyranny, not to enter a new tunnel of foreign control on the oil. 


He also warned "the rebels to have their revolution deviated and to fall into the arms of Western arrogance, otherwise all the sacrifices and the blood and the achievements that the Libyan people paid a lot for it, will be lost".

Sayed Ali Fadlallah, head of "Al-Mabarat" charity also said "The International Day of Al-Quds, was announced by the Imam Khomeini, to remain a Global day of Jerusalem, for all what it represents as a religious and political title, it contains Al Aqsa Mosque, which is the first "Qibla" of Muslims, a place where Prophet Mohammed (s) had the Ascension, a forum of prophets and apostles.

 Al-Quds is part of Palestine, which is occupied by the Zionist entity that seeks to swallow all of Palestine. Stressing that " Imam Khomeini wanted the cause of Al-Quds, in all its dimensions, to remain present in the consciousness of Muslims, and their awareness, and not to be forgetten, no matter how powerful the challenges are". 

As he wished at the memory of the absence of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his two companions, in the thirty-first of August, which coincides with the fall of the tyrant, "to be for this fall a role in the detection of this crime which removed from the scene a great Islamic symbol, who had a role in strengthening this arena, and facing injustice and tyranny and deprivation. And raised the Islamic issues, particularly the cause of Palestine, and said about it: "The honor of Jerusalem refuses to be liberated only by the honorables faithful. 

Meanwhile, member of Coalition of Muslim Scholars and the President of "Olfa", Sheikh Suhaib Habli said "Thanks God who gave us an Imam to raise the holy cause of Palestine and made the International Day of Quds in the best days of the year, on Friday and ten goodness of Ramadan to produce a Resistance in Lebanon and a liberation in both of Palestine and Lebanon".

He noted, "One may say that in this holy day, we will not make any diffrence, but we say if the enemy harm was forgotten we will vanish, thus we must remember it from generation to generation".

He considered that the Quds will be liberated " this is promise of God but it will not be liberated by the advocates of sedition and division and fragmentation, but through the hands of believers who gather and does not differentiate and does not offer free services to the enemies of God". 

In the same context, Member of Coalition of Muslim Scholars and of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Unification Movement, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Zouhbi said "that the International Day of Quds comes to correct the direction of the compass, and to extinguish the fire of sedition, that  arrogance is trying to ignited among the Muslims, and quoted the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Mohammed (s), the best people in the strife is a man who scares the enemy and enemy scares is as well".

"International Quds Day declares that the revolution will not be vulnerable, and the liberation of Quds is the address to liberate all the oppressed in the world, and drop the Zionist and the U.S. tyranny is dropping all forms of tyranny in human life, " he added.
 
Imam of Sidon mosque, Sheikh Maher Hammoud also wished to open up the prospects that were closed and let Al-Quds breathe a bit of fresh air, saying"May these developments will be reflected on the march of "Jihad" and Resistance, and prepare the nation for the liberation of Quds and the demise of Israel by divine stages that we do not know and sponsored by the Lord of the Worlds." 

"The Palestinian people did a quality in the memory of the "Nakba", gathered masses in a special march that was able to prove that the Palestinians in Lebanon are attached to the occupied Palestinian and will not be satisfied by an alternative, calling to replace the word "rejection of settlement" by the word "right of return", because the word includes some sort of charge for the Palestinians that they wants to resettle in Lebanon and the Lebanese rejected, and this is not true, there is a consensus to reject the settlement becuase it is an end to the Palestinian cause," he added.
 
In Libyan topic, Hammoud expressed his fears of Feltman's presence as director of operations in Libya and the clear control of the NATO on the capabilities and oil of the country".

Also Al-Mufti al-Jaafari Al-Mumtaz, Sheikh Ahmed Qabalan congratulated Libyan people for his liberation of his tyrant, and congratulated the Transitional Council, and invited it to be for all Libya and work to restore cohesion and unity among the Libyan people, and return Libya to the ranks of states of defiance and resistance, that fight all the conspiracies hatched against vulnerable and oppressed peoples.

 Also demanded from LTC and from whom has the ability, to liberate the concealed Imam Musa al-Sadr and his two companions, and to return them to their country and their families safe.
