Pres. Raisi: Smallest action against Iran's interests will be met with a fierce, widespread, painful response against all its perpetrators
Emphasising the need to take deterrent measures against the continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza, especially by Islamic countries, the President described the blind support of some Western countries to the Zionist regime as a cause of tension in the region and clarified, "The smallest action against Iran's interests will definitely be met with a fierce, widespread and painful response against all its perpetrators".
The President further described the terrorist act of the Zionist regime in attacking the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus as a sign of desperation caused by the regime's failure to achieve its goals of attacking Gaza and clarified, "Contrary to the expectations of all freedom fighters and free nations and also against the explicit text of international laws, the United Nations and the Security Council did not fulfil their minimum legal duties in condemning the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, as well as their failure and inaction in stopping the crimes of the Zionists in Gaza. Therefore, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in line with exercising its right to legitimate defence based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, designed and executed an operation against the same bases that had launched evil acts against us".

Referring to his country's effort to condemn the Zionist regime's aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran's consulate building in Damascus, the Emir of Qatar added, "Today we are witnessing the highest level of global and popular convergence in support of the Palestinian cause, and the Zionist regime is trying to turn the world public opinion away from its crimes in Gaza by making the situation tense".
He praised the tact of the Islamic Republic of Iran in designing and implementing the response to the crime of the Zionist regime and considered it to contain a clear message for everyone.
