A demonstration in support of Palestine was held Saturday in the German capital.

Thousands gathered near the Wilmersdorf metro station to march against Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and Germany's provision of weapons to Tel Aviv.
Demonstrators demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza chanted slogans: "Germany funds, Israel kills", "Ceasefire now, freedom for Palestine" and "Stop the genocide."
Speeches criticized Germany for complicity in war crimes by supplying weapons to Israel.
Jaquline Charle criticized the German government.
"I demand an immediate halt to supplying weapons to Israel and that they do everything to end the genocide in Gaza," she said.

At least 25 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces across the occupied West Bank over the last few hours, including a girl from Jerusalem, as well as children and former prisoners, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society and the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority.
The statement reported that the arrests were carried out in the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Jenin, Jericho, Qalqilya, Jerusalem, and Tulkarm, specifically in the town of Deir al-Ghusoun, which witnessed a deadly Israeli onslaught yesterday resulting in the killing of five Palestinians.
According to the statement, Israeli occupation forces continue to conduct widespread arrest campaigns involving raids, torture, brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families, deliberate killings, and the destruction of civilian homes.
Since October 7th of last year, the total number of arrests has exceeded 8,575, including those arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken by Israeli authorities as hostages.
