Barak called the return of Shalit to "Israel" by "pouring water"
Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - Despite the "Israeli" massive support of the prisoner exchange deal, as an opinion poll conducted by the Institute "Dahav" and published by "Yedioth Ahronoth" Today, showed a support of 79% of the Israelis, while the sense of failure and bitterness fills the "Israeli" press.
In this context, the former minister Tzachi Hanegbi, wrote in the "Yediot Ahronot", "the issue of Shalit, revealed the limited capacity of our intelligence, although the high volume of resources invested in order to find the place of Shalit in Gaza for the purpose of using the military option to liberate him".
Journalist Nahum Barnea, wrote "in this case, we are not talking about the glory of any kind, as Gilad Shalit does not return to his home after a great military operation, carried out by the unit of paratroopers, and not after a covert operation carried out by the "Mossad", or as a result of the threat of fear for his captors and make them have to liberate him, Shalit is back after our decision-makers gave up to bring him back home in another way, it's a desperate deal, a deal which is not an option".
For his part, the writer Yoram Kanyuk lists how "Israel" ceded all things which it considered until the hour of completion of the transaction, principles and not negotiable, such as the liberation of prisoners from inside the Green Line, although the Kanyuk had missed that "Israel" had already liberated prisoners from inside the Green Line in the scope of Jibril deal. Kanyuk said that "Israel tried for many years to build a wall between the Palestinians inside the Green Line, it tried to hit their awareness and Palestinian history of their minds, and forced their children to learn the songs of "Bialik", and now it waive this condition and this wall".
Political analyst of "Haaretz" newspaper, Akiva Eldar wrote under the title "Next Shalit Liberation" against attempts by some members of the Knesset of the "Israeli" Right, to present project called the "law of Shalit," that aims to select a price for the exchange of prisoners in the future, and require a swap of -one for one-.
Eldar said, "If this law was into force, Gilad Shalit would returned in coffin for a few Palestinian prisoners", noting that the adoption of such a law is a death sentence on next Shalit.
In a related development, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak approved last night on the return of Shalit, and called the return of Shalit to "Israel" by "pouring water", which will start from six o'clock in the morning tomorrow.
