"Israel" has jailed 650,000 Palestinians since 1967
"Israeli" enemy forces detained 19 people across the West Bank overnight Tuesday, witnesses and the army said.
An "Israeli" military spokeswoman said the 19 Palestinians were taken for security questioning, and six men were detained in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
Locals said soldiers raided al-Saff and al-Jabal neighborhoods in the city and detained Muhammad Ribhi al-Hireimi, 21, Ridha Abdul-Karim Sadouq, 21, his brother Muntasir, 23, Muhammad Nasif Rabba, 24, and 48-year-old Jamil Abdullah Rabba.
Nashat Samarah was detained from Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, locals said.
'Israeli" troops also raided several towns in the southern Hebron district.
Locals said soldiers detained Muath Muhammad al-Qadi, 23, from Surif, Raed Shalalda, 27, from Sair and Yousif Ahmad Sabarna and Muhammad Yousif Alama, 24, from Beit Ummar.
In Beit Iksa, northwest Quds, "Israeli" forces detained 28-year-old Muataz Yousif Zayid and 34-year-old Munthir Salih Zayid. The village is adjacent to the illegal settlement Ramot where a young man was stabbed earlier this week.
Israeli troops raided several other areas, witnesses said, but no detentions were reported.
The prisoner rights group Addameer estimates that "Israel" has jailed 650,000 Palestinians since 1967.
