The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet has arrived in Dhaka for four-day visit which will include a visit to Rohingya refugee camps where those displaced as a result of Myanmar military attacks live.

Almost 40 Palestinian children have been killed so far this year in the occupied territories with Israeli forces appearing to use lethal force in a manner that violates international human rights law, Bachelet said in the statement.

In the past week, 19 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territory, taking the death toll since the start of the year to 37. Seventeen children were killed during the aggression on Gaza from 5-7 August, while two more were killed on 9 August in Israeli attacks in the West Bank.
