Mamusta Abdul Qader Beyzavi, senior Sunni cleric from Urumiya, said to follow guidelines of Qur’an and Ahlul Bayt (AS) as the best “diplomacy of Islamic unity”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Shia and Sunni Muslims share the same book and believe in monotheism and that has brought equality among them.”
 
He hailed the diplomacy of Iran in regards to Islamic denominations and said,” Iran’s diplomacy on Islamic unity is due to determination and the domestic might which is a result of unity and national solidarity as well as the spiritual tie between the people and the Supreme Leader.”
 
Friday prayer leader of Urumiya highlighted the special attention of the Supreme Leader banning any disrespectful behavior towards other denominations calling that a plot by enemies to spark clashes among Muslims.
 
He condemned any dispersing move against Muslim community and called “unity of Islamic nation” as the only solution for the world of Islam.
 
Mamusta Beyzavi noted that Muslims share several assets including Qur’an, Qibla (praying direction in Islam) and the Islamic principles and added, ”These commonalities have not left any space for disagreements and minor differences are not enough to divide Muslim society.”
 
Friday prayer leader of Urumiya referred to the peace and unity among people and added,” These achievements should prevail the whole world of Islam so that no arrogant power can harass Islam or Muslims.”
