Renowned Sunni cleric from Mahabad County referred to the example of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) for tolerating the oppositions of his era stressing that “Diplomacy of Islamic unity” should build reconciliation among the people.

Mamusta Yahya Esmaeeli, interim Friday prayer leader of Mahabad County in Kurdistan Province, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed “Diplomacy of Islamic Unity” to be based on Qur’an and recommendations of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) or it is doomed to fail.
 
He noted that elites, scholars and religious figures should be involved in the process of policy making so that they defeat the enemies.
 
He said,” Diplomacy of Islamic unity” should be a strategy that transmits the approach of Islamic Republic, thoughts by Imam Khomeini (RA) and guidelines by the Supreme Leader and explains the true message of Islam.
 
Friday prayer leader of Mahabad County highlighted the role of clerics in awakening of the people and building solidarity among them stressing,” Elites are obliged to struggle in line with boosting Islamic solidarity and provide the ground for more friendship and fraternity among Muslims.”
 
He quoted the holy book of Islam calling Muslims as a unified nation meaning that they pursue one path and that they should depend upon commands of God Almighty and avoid division.
