Disunity, result of enemies penetration

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, met with a group of clerics from Afghanistan warning against any trust to the enemies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The cleric expressed regret for the disunity in society calling that an outcome of the enemies' penetration amongst Muslims and said," The result for trust in enemies is that they penetrate into layers of our society and divide our nation."

He noted that Shia Sunni clashes are beneficial only for the Zionist regime of Israel and said," Syria was the only Arab state which stood against Zionist regime and we are witness to the great intrigue hatched against the country."

Ayatollah Araki noted that those who fight against Syria are puppets of the US and Zionist regime warning that had it not been for the supports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria had turned into a base for the Zionist regime.

He called Afghanistan as a cradle of science and arts hailing the numerous Sunni figures who have made great contributions to the world of Islam.

Secretary General of the world forum also praised proximity activities in Afghanistan calling the country as a role model for Islamic unity.

"Although enemies have always tried to spark sectarian clashes between Shia and Sunni communities in Afghanistan, vigilance of the people and Muslim scholars has always foiled the hostile efforts and the country is exemplary in Islamic proximity." he said.
