Ayatollah Rafsanjani hails CPOA positive results

Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani lauded the positive results of Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action clinched between Islamic Republic of Iran and G5+1, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Referring to some certain opposition inside the country against the deal, the religious cleric highlighted, "JCPOA resulted in resolution of many a problem including the shipping of oil abroad."

"Iran's petroleum production decreased to one million b/pd as the result of sanctions but following the nuclear deal, our production now has increased to 3.5 million b/pd," the cleric added.

Chairman of the Expediency Council said that after the nuclear deal, several high-ranking foreign officials had declared interest to visit Iran and develop ties with the Islamic Republic.

"Islamic Republic of Iran has revived ties with world banks in the post-sanctions era," pointed out Ayatollah Rafsanjani.

"certain Arab states, US Republicans and Zionist regime lobbies in Europe are against the nuclear deal" underlined Chairman of the Expediency Council calling for national unity and concluding JCPOA deserves support.
