Making his remark in a meeting with the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati, Iranian religious jurisprudent Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi underscored, "Iranian nation are not willing to perform Hajj pilgrimage under humiliation," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi lectured Saudi officials stressing, "Saudi behavior is evidently insulting."

"We want a Hajj pilgrimage performed with dignity and respect," pointed out the cleric gathering Saudi conduct is revengeful.

"Regarding what they say, it is felt that they want to use the Hajj issue as a tool to take revenge for their losses in Yemen, Syria and Iraq," he adding their approach was politically-motivated and revengeful.

'Neither God nor the pilgrims will accept such behaviors," mentioned the grand Ayatollah.

Islamic Repubic of Iran insists that the safety of its pilgrims should be ensured, given the disaster in Mina that killed many Iranian pilgrims in Last year’s Hajj ceremony.
