'Clerics serve as guides for nation'

"Clerics are guides for the nation as they won trust of people and they listen to them patiently," pointed out Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

"Clerics are are guides for public opinion as they won trust of people and they listen to them patiently," pointed out Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA)

Making his remarks in a meeting with theologians and instructors of the theology school of Tehran, Supreme leader urged clerics to be do their utmost in guiding people.

"A cleric should be devoted, inasmuch as they shoulder grave responsibility to guide the nation," highlihgted Ayatollah Khamenei.

The meeting was mounted at Imam Khomeini Mosque, downtown Tehran.
