Senior Iranian scholar rejected terrorists as an irresolvable issue stressing that there is no space for terrorism in Islam.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, top Shia jurisprudent met with high ranking delegate from Hungary and counted stemming ideological roots, political negotiations and direct confrontation as solutions against Daesh and terrorist groups, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to a previous meeting with Hungary’s parliament chairman calling terrorism as an insolvable issue for Europe and said,” To burn the origins of terrorist ideologies, political talks and confrontation with terrorists are the three strategies which should be maintained.”
 
The cleric noted,” We should not turn discouraged at solving the issue of ISIL” and added if some governments had not cooperated with them, the terrorist group should have been uprooted by now.
 
He highlighted the role of unity among world people and assimilated the present world to a house which is certainly booming once the people are united and destroyed if division spreads among people.
 
Iranian scholar expressed regret that while the US projects itself against terrorists, it calls Daesh as an Islamic state on its radio broadcasts.
 
“Daesh is neither a state nor Islamic” said Ayatollah Makarem and referred to an agreement among Muslim scholars rejecting Islamic nature of terrorist groups.
 
He stressed,” Unfortunately some political issues have led to views relating ISIL to Islam while Islam is the religion of blessings, coexistence and kindness with all other religions.
This interpreter of Qur’an referred to a congress against terrorism hosted by Islamic Republic where the participants unanimously agreed that terrorism has no space in Islam.
 
Iranian religious figure expressed regret over spread of Islamophobia in some foreign media and calling Islamic Republic of Iran as a pro-terrorist country while Iran stands in the front line of campaign against Daesh terrorist group.
