“Diplomacy of Islamic unity” necessity for formation of unified Islamic nation

Mamusta Heydar Ali Pourahmadi, representative of the Supreme Leader in Sunni affairs in Bukan County in West Azerbaijan Province, referred to the remarks by the leader highlighting the diplomacy of Islamic unity and other potentialities of the Muslim states as the prelude for formation of a unified Islamic nation in a way that equally privileges all Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The cleric highlighted the diplomacy of Islamic unity as the most important solution for different Islamic denominations in general.

He stressed that the diplomacy of Islamic unity should be based on the message of revelation (of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)) and criticized Shia and Sunni communities for sending the message of their individual school of thought rather than the massage of Islam, a move which, according to the cleric, has led to disagreements to spark between Muslims.

Mamusta Pour Ahmadi touched upon the role of religious teachings in formation of a unified Islamic nation and added,” Elites, scholars and religious thinkers play the most key role since they can explain the message of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and set religious commonalities as the axis to settle the disagreements.”

He stressed that the elites should derive the commonalities of Islamic denominations and set that as the basis for the diplomacy of Islamic unity.

Iranian Sunni cleric also reiterated necessity of unified defense of Islam against the enemies and boosting the identical Islamic solidarity.

Mamusta Pour Ahmadi reiterated the Supreme Leaders’ view on necessity of the diplomacy of unity and stressed that as the solution for the world of Islam to resolve the present crises.
