Senior religious cleric and Seminary instructor urged Muslims to abide by the Islamic principles, teachings and instruction.

Addressing a group of seminary students, the senior religious cleric, Ayatollah Rouhollah Qarehie urged Muslims especially the well-educated ones to abide by the Islamic principles, teachings and instruction, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Beckoned to the deep-rooted relationship between religion and science, the religious cleric stressed gaining wisdom without having humane values and believing in God is useless.

According to Ayatollah Qarehie, the divine Islam is indeed the religion of wisdom encouraging humans to acquire knowledge and continue their education, but making headway in scientific relams without spiritual progress cannot bring humans salvation.

Seminary instructor urged Muslims especially the youth to read the holy Quran which is full of scientific revelations and follow its commands and teachings in their daily lives.

In his line, not only were science and Islam compatible, but religion could even spur scientific innovation.
