Sunni scholar raps extremism, Takfir calls for counter-terrorism moves
Iranian Sunni cleric has slammed the beef up in extremism, Takfir (excommunication), and beheading of Muslims by other Muslims calling for measures to stop the plague.

Molavi Mohammad Moghaddasi, prayer leader of the Sunni mosque of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in Mashhad in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on necessity of unified rhetoric in confrontation with terrorism and extremism highlighting social solidarity as one of the key solutions against extremism.
He said,” Extremism, Takfir, beheading of Muslims by other (so-called) Muslims, assassination of religious figures have reached a peak and all these injustice should be stopped by the influential figures and wise leaders.”
Prayer leader of Mohammad (PBUH) the Messenger from the city of Mashahd referred to the lifestyle of Ahlul Bayt (AS) calling Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam as a pioneer of unity whose acts followed his words, was one of the most loyal to Muslim unity and called all Muslims to cooperation and sympathy to stabilize solidarity among Muslims.
He called for more cautiousness of Muslims on their rhetoric so that they do not contribute to interests of the enemies and summoned all to boost loyalty, friendship and fraternity in the hearts of other Muslims.
