Eid al-Adha is a practical lesson of fraternity: Mamousta Sorkhabie

In an exclusive interview with Taqrib news Agency (TNA) on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice) , Mamousta Ebrahim Sorkhabie, Sunni Friday Prayer of Naqdeh located in Oroumiyeh, stressed, "Eid al-Adha is a practical lesson of cooperation, kindness, fraternity and a clear example of unity of toward which all Muslims should move forward."

"Eid al-Adha is the manifestation of the liberation from passion and worldly desires," stressed Mamousta Sorkhabie noting the event is the feast of all purity and the show of worshipping God Almighty.

"The occasion (Eid al-Adha) teaches Muslims the lessons of unity and dedication," underscored the religious cleric noting the event reminds Muslims of Ibrahim Prophet (PBUH) passing the hardest divine test teaching next generation the lesson of true worship and jihad for God.

"Hajj represents the unity, and power of Muslims against the evil enemies," stressed Mamousta Ebrahim Sorkhabie noting," The event is one of the by far most important pillars of divine religion of Islam."

"Hajj ritual is one of the great Islamic worship and can bring many benefits for Muslims in the Islamic society in various ways," pointed out the Sunni cleric.

According to the religious cleric, Muslims in Eid al-Adha obey God Almighty and accepts all His wills by sacrificing all senses and worldly attachments.

"Marking the event, Muslims abandon all their attachments turning towards God, and this is what gives value to Hajj ritual," stressed the religious cleric noting the occasion promotes, in the long run, unity among the Muslims.
