“Islamic states responsible for supporting Muslim nations” cleric

Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestari, member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, in his weekly teaching session in Ayatollah Iravani (RA) Seminary, referred to the present issues of the Muslims across the globe calling the scholars to notify the people on crimes committed against Muslims, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported RASA News as saying.

He referred to the present issues of Muslims and said,” Arrogant powers are struggling to take measures against Islam in any possible way while, either consciously or unknowingly, some domestic puppets aid them with their hostile objectives.”

He said,” Where the grounds for direct war is not prepared, arrogant powers inflict their losses through soft war, therefore the need for promoting religious thoughts is better understood.”

Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts noted that the countries which are prepared for clashes are the grounds for arrogant powers referring to Myanmar with a 70 per cent Muslim population and Muslims as the biggest minority harassed by the ruling Buddhist system.

He said,” The responsibility of Muslim nations and governments is to support the oppressed and the elites should notify the people on the crimes while the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
(OIC) should intervene in the case and does not let homelessness of Muslims happen.”

He stressed for more support for the Muslims in Myanmar and said,” Yemeni nation is facilitated with weapons to confront Saudi Arabia but Myanmar Muslims are totally helpless.”
