'Giving consummate attention to Islamic teachings is upon religious bodies': senior cleric

"Religious centers and bodies should give their consummate attention to Islamic code of ethics and religious teachings," stressed Iranian senior cleric.

Addressing a religious ceremony mounted in holy Qom city, Iranian senior cleric, Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi urged Islamic organization to focus on Islamic principles principles noting, "Religious centers and bodies should give their consummate attention to Islamic ethics and religious training," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The religious cleric demanded Muslims from all sects and denominations to focus on their shared principles and values preserving their standing solidarity.

"It is upon all religious clerics to unite against the conspiracy of the divine Islam's enemies who are after damaging Islamic communities via sectarian wars," stressed Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi.

The religious cleric underscored, "the current bloodletting in Islamic countries is indeed been engineered by certain powers along with the regime of Zionism."
