Two Iranian shorts to vie in Italy

In its fourth international screening, ‘Plight’ has made it to the competition section of PiGrecoZen FilmFest in Italy.

Prior to this, ‘Plight’ had been screened in Berlin Flash Film Festival, Rome Cinema DOC and Miami Independent Film Festival.

This edition of the festival will be hosting feature films, short films (under 20 minutes), 60-second films (competitive) and 60-second films (noncompetitive). ‘Plight’ will be competing in the 60-second category with films from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Canada, the US, the UAE, India, Nepal, Argentina and Spain.

The fourth edition of PiGrecoZen festival will be held from October 24-28 in Italy.
Meanwhile, ‘Media’ will go on screen in GeoFilmFestival and EXPOCINEMA which marks the film’s fifth international screening.

GeoFilmFestival and EXPOCINEMA which will be hosting short films under 30 minutes, is slated for November 9 and runs through March 4, 2018.
