Security measures have intensified in and around the holy mosque ahead of extremist calls for sacrifice of animals in the mosque on the occasion.

At least 25 Zionist fanatics were arrested by Israeli occupation authorities as they attempted to sacrifice goats at the Al-Aqsa compound. One animal was found in a baby carriage.

This year, the “Returning to the Temple Mount” group offered financial rewards of over $13,000 for those who are able to succeed in carrying out a slaughter in the Al-Aqsa compound.
