Huj. Shahriari hails Iranian Sunni scholars for four decades of proximity activities

The Secretary General of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has lauded the prominent Sunni scholar Mamusta Molla Ahmad Fakhri for over four decades of efforts to promote Islamic solidarity.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari has issued a message on Sunday to offer condolences over passing of senior Sunni scholar and former prayer leader of Javanrud, in western Iranian province of Kermanshah, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He called late Mamusta Molla Ahmad Fakhri as an acquainted scholar and a profound cleric.
 
He said,” The revolutionary and renowned scholar from Kermanshah province had spent his life for serving Islam and the high objectives of the Islamic Revolution, Islamic proximity and solidarity among Muslims.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari extended sympathy with the bereaved family of the late scholar, the Sunni community in Kermanshah and his students.
 
Late Mamusta Molla Ahmad Fakhri served as the prayer leader of the Sunni community in Javanrud since 1980 until his retirement in 2023.
