The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has stressed the capabilities of Muslims across the globe to help the Palestinians suffering Israeli onslaughts and blockade in Gaza Strip.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting with Sayyed Morteza Bakhtiari, the director of Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Foundation, highlighted the massive capacities of Muslim world for aiding the under-privileged people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He called for channels to send the aids from some pro-Palestine nations, whose authorities support US-Israeli alliance, for the oppressed Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari referred to the measure already taken by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in launching the charity website “imohsen” as a channel through which Muslims across the globe can help the underprivileged people.
 
Sayyed Morteza Bakhtiari for his part highlighted the great capabilities of Muslim world for conducting charity activities.
 
He added,” The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought can identify and introduce the active benefactors.”
 
The two sides also signed an MoU to expand the culture of philanthropy and beneficence and also to use the international capacities for charity projects.
