Scholarly diplomacy brings western anti-Islam project to its knees

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has warned that Islamophobia, Shiaphobia and Iranophobia are among the western colonial projects to divide the world of Islam stressing that the diplomacy of Muslim scholars will bring the west to its knees.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari made the remarks in a meeting with Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq, Iran’s ambassador to Iraq held on the first day of a visit to the Iraqi capital, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric is heading a delegation of Iranian Shia and Sunni scholars to attend the second International Islamic unity conference to be held by al-Rebat al-Mohammadi Scholars Council in Baghdad.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said,” The west, in its Islamophobia project, intends to isolate Muslims in the world, in its Shiaphobia project aims to divide the Muslim nation while its Iranophobia campaign means to array the world nations against an Islamic Iran.”
 
He highlighted importance of the scholarly diplomacy and organizing international conferences in sending Islam’s message of compassion and friendship and said,” The active participation of religious scholars will bring their views closer to each other and bring the west to its knees.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari reiterated that endeavors to materialize Islamic unity to be high on the agenda of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and noted,” Our prospect is to achieve a unified Islamic nation as prelude to establishment of the union of Islamic countries.”
Representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, is leading a delegation of thinkers and religious figures to attend the second international Islamic unity conference on the issue of Palestine and al-Aqsa Flood in the capital Baghdad on Wednesday.
