Iranian Sunni cleric demands:

Muslim states do not support war in Islamic countries.

Prayer leader of Uramanat stressed commonalities among Muslims calling Islamic countries to pursue peace, unity and fraternity rather than war and bloodshed.

Lotfollah Shafe’izadeh, Sunni prayer leader of Uramanat, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the sideline of 30th Islamic unity conference, denounced supporters of terrorist groups calling Islamic states to halt supporting violence in war-stricken countries and pursue peace and fraternity.
 
He said,” No government allows another country occupies its territories and will stand against occupiers to liberate it.”
 
He stressed necessity of solidarity among Islamic nation and rebuked the war and bloodshed in Islamic countries including Bahrain, Syria, Iraq and Turkey.
 
The cleric highlighted numerous commonalities of Muslims and said the disagreements are trivial issues; therefore, we should boost our solidarity based on Qur’an.
 
Lotfollah Shafe’izadeh added the present issues in the Islamic countries is due to the motto “Divide and Rule” maintained by the west who loot oil and gas from Islamic countries and turn them into destructive weapons in Europe to spark war between Muslims.
 
He hailed the opening speech at the 30th International Islamic Unity Conference by President Rouhani and said,” According to the president neither Shia nor Sunni is at war with the other denomination and this is the colonial power which promotes the Shia crescent and Sunni triangle.
 
Iranian Sunni cleric also warned against any form of desecrating move towards other denominations stressing mutual respects between them.
