22nd Iranian intl. press exhibition opens in Tehran

The 22nd Iranian International Press and News Agencies’ Annual Exhibition opened in Tehran on Friday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Various programs including meetings, seminars and professional workshops will be organized during the exhibition.

The 22ndPress and News Agencies Exhibition however, is a good opportunity for average people to meet those involved in the media sector, listen to the stories behind their stories and at the same time, let their own opinions be heard in a democratic exercise of dialog and debate.

The foreign delegates taking part in this year’s expo were from China, France, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Russia, and Turkey.

Three photo exhibitions have also been arranged. “Iran in the Past Year” will feature Iran’s major events in various fields over the past year. “The Environment” will focus on Iran’s major environmental challenges and “Iran and South Korea” will display photos on cultural and diplomatic relations between Iran and South Korea.
