'lack of religious knowledge is the origin of Takfir'

Malaysian Mufti said, "ignorance and lack of proper knowledge of religion is the main source of Takfir."

Malaysian Mufti, Abdelhadi Avang speaking at the opening ceremony 30^th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran said the Zionist enemy is after its Zionist and Freemasonry plots across the Islamic World and all divisive edicts and talks about new map of Middle East and tendency towards western democracy are part and parcels of this same project.

He added that ignorance and lack of religious unawareness have prevented Islam's compatibility and led to appearance of small and great Satans. He added that the same factor has been responsible for some Muslims to Takfir and blaspheme other Muslims.

The Malaysian Mufti said, "there is no difference between Shiite and Sunni but unfortunately some extremists and fanatic people blaspheme each other."

Referring to continuous aggression by the Zionist regime against Gaza and Lebanon, the Malaysian clergy said, "without Lebanese Hezbullah, we could not resist against the machinations hatched by the enemies of Islam."
