"Hijab protects women's value"

Grand cleric praises issued a message and praised Hijab as a high value for Muslim women saying that the feature can protect the value of women in international arena.

Grand cleric praises issued a message and praised Hijab as a high value for Muslim women saying that the feature can protect the value of women in international arena.

Senior cleric, Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, on threshold of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (AS), daughter of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), sent a message and highlighted the special stance of the lady saying that Hazrat Zahra (AS) showed a very good stance contrary to her short life, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Top cleric stressed the stance of Hazrat Zahra (AS) in her faith, worshipping God, piety, ignorance of the material world, mercifulness and paying attention to her duties as a wife and a mother.

He referred to Surah Ahzab (the Coalition) which, giving the characteristics of a sample woman and said, "Hazrat Fatemeh (AS) was unique in all features which were remarkable for women to have."

Grand jurisprudent called Muslim women to follow Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (AS) and said Hazrat Zahra (AS) has set a good example not only for the women but also for the humanity and liberal people of the world.

"One of the most outstanding features of Hazrat Fatemeh (AS) was having Hijab," said senior cleric adding that those who wish to follow the lady's path have to value Hijab and human values.

This message was issued on the eve of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (AS) which is called Mother's Day or Women's Day in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Daughter of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Khadidjeh Bint Khuwaylid, Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (AS) set an exemplar for men and women alike, having important political significances beside her role as a mother and a wife.
