Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Shams, manager of Yazd seminary in an interview with Hawza News, slammed the recent massacre of Muslim minority in Myanmar stressing that the crime is committed after receiving the US green light.

He referred to the role of Muslim countries in preventing crimes against Muslims and called all Islamic states to take action and prevent any form of oppression.

” The US, following the victory and spread of Islamic Revolution in Iran, reveal their hostility with Muslim community by their inaction against any oppression on them” said the cleric and referred to several instances of US hostility since the crimes against humanity in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992 to the present catastrophes in Myanmar.

Iranian cleric noted that great gas and oil resources in Myanmar has absorbed countries like China and the US towards the country and sparking such a great crisis in the region.

Member of the council at Yazd seminary warned against sectarian and tribal division as the means through which enemies use to achieve their objectives and said,” Zionist regime of Israel is provoking extremist Buddhists in order to spread the war across the Middle East and Asia” and called international organizations to play a role in settling the issue.

Manager of Yazd seminary also hailed the role of soldiers defending the holy shrines in Syria and Iraq war and said,” Had it not been for the sacrifice of these fighters, we should have been witness to the same crimes against Myanmar Muslims in other countries.”
