Top Shia cleric hailed Islamic republic of Iran as the most hospitable country towards migrants stressing the necessity of cultural programs for them.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with the Manager of Migrants Affairs in the Iranian holy city of Qom, highlighting the importance of maintaining honor of the foreign migrants in Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He stressed that the respect for migrants has to be spread across the society highlighting the role of cultural institutions including television in extending the ideology.
 
Ayatollah Araki referred to the presence of several Afghan and Iraqi members in Iran’s Gaurds Corps (IRGC) during the eight year of imposed war and said,” This has been a rare incident that natioanls of another country volunterilly join the army of another country and contribute his life for defending the people.”
 
Professor at seminary rejected the policies of world arrogant powers for bringing intrigues and violence in the region and demanded authorities and also the nation to foil the plots by enemies.
 
He referred to Iran as the only regional country which has welcomed the highest number of migrants demanding for implementation of cultural programs for migrants in Iran.
