The opening ceremony of Iran’s cultural week mounted so as to promote cultural relations between Iran and Russia with senior officials of the two countries in attendance at the premise of Maly Theatre in Moscow, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Addressing the opening ceremony, Iranian Envoy to Moscow, Mehdi Sanaei as well as the ICRO Head, Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman placed stress on the importance advancing cultural programs and strengthening ties between Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia.
Regarding Iran-Russia cooperation and broadening political and economic relations, the officials should ease the way for sending message of friendship, brotherhood and closeness to each nation.
Having referred to the message of friendship and peace by the Iranian artists, Ebrahimi Torkaman, for his part, stressed, “Iranian artists and Muslims, in the here and now, are mounting cultural week programs worldwide so as to convey Islamic Iran’s message of brotherhood and friendship."
