Foad Izadi, Iranian expert on US affairs, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to failure of US policies on Iran stressing that to blacklist IRGC carries more of propaganda against the Islamic Republic and its practical pursuit will be in vain.
He referred to two terror lists in the US, one belonging to the country’s treasury and the second compiled by the US State Department as the former, whose targets will face tougher repercussions, has added the IRGC to its list one and half year ago.
He stressed the US treasury in a higher level above the State Department in regards to sanctions since the treasury is responsible to carry them out.
Foad Izadi added,” Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) have for years been on the US State Department list of terror meanwhile they have been participating in several international conferences across the globe; hence, regarding the US failures against Iran, this measure is more of a propaganda against the Islamic Republic as its practical pursuit will not be followed any particular outcome.”
Iranian political expert said,” They had blustered that Islamic Republic of Iran will not turn 40 while the US did not make it to materialize its minimum ambitions instead of so much propaganda and media job.”
He called for a review in Iran’s foreign policies regarding Washington and said,” Iran will maintain its policies in line with supporting FATF and JCPOA as its policies in regards to the west should change.”
Foad Izadi concluded that concurrency of the US decision on IRGC with Tel Aviv elections, is a measure to satisfy Netanyahu and a contribution to guarantee his victory in the election.
