“People follow religious leaders in support for Palestine”, Indian cleric

Indian scholar and orator hailed the annual Islamic Unity Conference in line with materialization of Palestinian objective and highlighted the role of religious leaders in guiding their followers towards support for Palestine.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Sadeq Husseini, Indian cleric participating the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of the event stressed that if religious leaders can perfectly represent their nations, then their followers will follow in their footsteps in support for the Palestinians.
 
He said,” If the heart and mind of the Muslim world is in pain, it is certainly for the issue of Palestine; therefore, if Muslim scholars can properly lead their nations, they will lead them to sympathize and save the Palestinian nation.”
 
The Indian cleric called Islamic Unity Conference as a voice calling on the world to help the helpless oppressed people.
 
He said,” Such a great move to bring Muslim hearts closer together is not a tactic but a strategy and an Islamic move made by the late founder of Islamic Revolution continued by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Husseini referred to invasions against the different parts of Muslim world and said,” Meetings like Islamic Unity Conference should basically be held in order to convene high ranking scholars from across the world of Islam to exchange views and issue a joint declaration.”
