Martyrdom of Nasrallah strengthened resistance

Akhoond Mirabi from of Qara Tapeh, Bandar Torkaman, in an Interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed the assassinated leader of Hezbollah resistance movement and his struggle in face of the Israeli regime.

Akhoond Abdoljabbar Mirabi affirmed that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Islamic resistance and supporter of the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine, demonstrated to the world the true meaning of standing firm on the path of Almighty God and defending the oppressed through his martyrdom.

He said,” The efforts of the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah in nurturing and preparing new leaders ensured that thousands of other leaders would be ready for resistance, continuing the path of martyrdom and defending religion, homeland, and the oppressed after his passing.

A member of the Planning Council for Sunni Religious Schools, Mirabi recited verse 169 of Surah Al Imran:

"And do not think of those who have been killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive, receiving provision from their Lord."

He further referenced the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):

"The most honorable death is martyrdom."

Mirabi emphasized that martyrdom in the path of God is among the greatest honors for a Muslim. From the early days of Islam until today, steadfast and devoted warriors of God have upheld this path, considering resistance and perseverance as their duty. They have made this divine and righteous movement the foundation of their faith and conviction, ensuring its continuation.

The remarks by the Iranian cleric comes ahead of the massive funeral procession held for the late leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement.

More than one million people attended the funeral procession that was held four months after an Israeli airstrike that killed the former Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his deputy, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.
