“Al-Quds belongs to all religions”, Iranian cleric
Member of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said that all Muslims should unite to liberate al-Aqsa Mosque from the grip of Israeli regime and stressed that the holy al-Quds belongs to followers of all Abrahmic religions.

Molavi Abdul Samad Damani, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) called on the entire world of Islam to have special attention on the issue of Palestine.
He said,” Al-Aqsa has been the first praying direction of Muslims and it is a mission for the world Muslims to liberate their first Qibla (praying direction) from the grip of Israeli regime.”
Manager of Haqqaniyeh Seminary in Iranshahr, southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan, quoted the verses of Qur’an on importance of al-Aqsa in Islam.
He reiterated the sacredness of al-Aqsa in all holy religions and Islamic denominations.
Senior Iranian Sunni cleric made the comments in the wake of the International Quds Day as Muslims and pro-Palestine people across the globe voice solidarity with the Palestinians in the occupied lands and vow their support for liberation of the holy site from the grip of Israeli regime.
