Qur’an burning happened due to lack of unity among Islamic countries
A professor at the Sunni seminary of Sheikh Shaltut in Iran’s city of Urmia said the Qur’an burning in the western countries is a result of disunity and lack of compassion among the Islamic countries.

Mamusta Mohammad Amin Taheri, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of the 3rd Regional Islamic Unity Conference stressed the positive achievements of the more Islamic unity meetings on strengthening solidarity among Muslims.
He stressed that the Shia and Sunni scholars should respect each other’s sanctities because the more understanding among their followers, the more measures by their followers in line with unity.
Professor of the seminary in Urmia added,” Extremists should not have a tribune to create and promote sedition among Muslims because Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) recommended his followers to maintain solidarity.”
“Qur’an burning is a result for lack of unity and compassion among the Islamic countries”, he said.
According to the Iranian Sunni cleric burning of Qur’an is disrespect to all Muslims and such sacrilegious acts should move Muslims.
