A prominent Iranian cleric has condemned the Israeli onslaughts against Palestinians and stressed the atrocities being caused by shaky solidarity among Muslims.

Mamusta Molla Abbas Mahmoudi, the Friday prayer leader of Banevreh city in in Iran’s Kurdistan province in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed unity as one of the key necessities in Muslim society and said whenever this solidarity has turned shaky, enemies dominated Muslims.
 
He said,” When Muslims boosted unity among them, we have witnessed glory and resolution of the world of Islam.”
 
The Iranian Sunni cleric added,” The brutality of Israeli regime against Palestinian nation is certainly an outcome of a flaw in unity among Muslims.”
 
The Friday prayer leader of Banevreh criticized the inaction of some Islamic countries regarding the developments in Gaza and called that a shame for the entire world of Islam.
 
He added,” A number of Arab-Muslim countries have in fact shut their eyes on Israel’s crimes and the genocidal war against Gazans in order to secure their interests.
 
Mamusta Molla Abbas Mahmoudi said UN is in fact a puppet of the powers like the US and UK who veto any resolution against Israeli regime.
