Cleric stresses global support for Yemen’s anti-Israel stance
A top Iranian cleric said Muslim countries hail Yemeni armed forces for their operations against Israeli regime in support of the Palestinians.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammadreza Mortazavi, deputy of international affairs at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), said the participants to the international conference on “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” lauded Yemen over its operations in the Red Sea which are conducted in support of the Palestinians under Israeli onslaughts.
He said the recent international conference on “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” was an inspiration following the operation staged by the resistance fighters against the occupied lands on October 7.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mortazavi said the participants were mainly discussed five axes:
1- Voicing hatred for criminal acts by the Zionist Israeli regime and its allies
2- Voicing support for the Palestinian fighters
3- Emphasizing global public support for the oppressed Palestinian nation and necessity of reviving the awakening until topple of the Israeli regime
4- Finding practical solutions and more support for the oppressed Palestinian nation in the unjust war
5- Emphasizing role of Islamic Republic of Iran as the flagbearer of Islamic resistance and confrontation with plots by world arrogant powers for the Muslim nations
The cleric made the remarks in the wake of the international conference on “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
More than 100 Muslim thinkers and intellectuals from across the globe attended the one-day event held in the Iranian capital Tehran.
