Cleric hails media coverage of Gaza developments

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has hailed the role of world media for coverage of the developments in Gaza Strip.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of the 24th Iran Medi Expo, highlighted the effective role of Muslim world media particularly in confrontation with the soft warfare waged by enemies.
 
He said that the true message of the Islamic revolution and its heavy responsibility to stand against enemies, the US and Israeli regime.
 
Top cleric also underlined the role of journalists in the issue of Palestine and said,” Journalists across the globe played an active role in publishing the developments in Gaza.”
 
He added,” It is very important that the worlds Muslims are united in their confrontation with the developments across the world of Islam.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari emphasized the support of the Islamic Republic for the Sunni people in Palestine and the axis of resistance rejecting allegations of Shiaphobia leveled against the Islamic Republic during the Syria war.
 
He said,” Muslim world is wise enough to note that war, terror, Takfir (excommunication) and conflicts are not ways to change minds rather righteousness should be revealed by dialogue, debates and explanation.
