On Sunday, August 4, President Hassan Rohani took the oath of office in Majlis one day after being endorsed by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Rohani won Iran’s June 14 presidential election with 50.7 percent of a total of over 36 million ballots. The voter turnout in the election was 72.7 percent.

Mohsen Khan-Jahani has experiences in making political documentaries which were screened in several Iranian and foreign festivals.

Khan-Jahani's Key was showcased at the 2010 edition of Russia's Message to Man International Documentary, Short and Animated Film Festival.

His other production 437 has been selected to be screened at the 2014 International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) that will take place from January 22 to February 2.

The producer and director of End of Pastor Street are planning to submit the film to Iran’s Cinema Vérité International Documentary Film Festival.

Organized by Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC), the seventh Cinema Vérité International Documentary Film Festival is scheduled to be held in November, 2013.
